Speech & Language Therapy

One of the major hurdles posed by hearing impairment in the overall development of a child is the difficulty it creates in the acquisition of speech, language & communication skills . This inadequacy in communicating efficiently prevents him from becoming a competent member of the society.

Specific methods to facilitate the development of Speech & Language are needed to bridge these gap. In order to impart such kind of speech & hearing stimulation NISH offers Speech and Language therapy. These therapy sessions are offered to children with inadequate speech and language skills who are below school going age

The activities aim at developing Speech & Language ability of the children by encouraging them to use their residual hearing to the maximum through auditory training.
