Pre School & Parent Guidance Centre

Early educational intervention is a pre-requisite for integrating the hearing impaired children into the mainstream education. The Pre School and Parent Guidance Center provides a rich spoken language environment, where children below the age of three years participate with their parents in a cooperative preschool experience.

In addition to social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth opportunities, the children have planned activities to learn to use their amplified residual hearing, develop receptive and expressive language skills.

The program is targeted at young children in order to equip them with communication skills before their career in common school starts. Parent's participation
is vital and hence they are counselled, guided and ultimately trained to be the resource person for their child. The ultimate goal is to provide parents, family
members and caregivers with information and emotional support so that they may create an environment that promotes the development of the whole child.
