Diploma in Teaching Young Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DTY DHH)

The Diploma in Teaching Young Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DTYDHH) is a diploma course introduced by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) from 2001. NISH has been approved as a recognised centre for the conduct of the course by RCI.

The main aim of the course is to generate qualified professionals for the Pre-school program. The Pre-school program which is getting increased attention requires large number of qualified teachers. The successful candidates from the diploma course will be eligible to be appointed as Pre-school teachers. RCI will provide the certificate of registration.
