NISH - Campus Fund

Making the campus a reality

NISH has shifted to the new building at Aakkulam where the Government had leased 10 acre land under the possession of Technopark. An amount of approximately Rs 4.5 crore has been spent on setting up the campus so far and a further 3 crore is required to complete the remaining development. NISH, which is mainly dependent on Government to carry out its activities cannot complete such a big venture with government grant alone. We therefore, are planning to raise part of the expenditure through public contribution.
The fund raising campaign was formally inagurated on 3rd August, 2005 by the then Chief Minister of Kerala, Sri. Oommen Chandy at a simple function in his Chamber. At the function he made the first contribution by handing it over to the Pre School children of NISH. Honorary Director of NISH, Sri. G. VijayaRaghavan, Executive Director Dr K N Pavithran and beneficaries and well wishers of NISH were present.
