Correspondence Programme

The correspondence programme is an extension of the Pre-school Programme of NISH. This is for parents of hearing-impaired children who cannot attend our pre-school centre at Trivandrum. The program consists of a number of lessons in Malayalam which are sent free of cost. Each lesson is accompanied by an individualized personal letter which addresses the problems of the particular child and his/her family. The whole program provides the parents a strong pyschological and emotional support, encouragement and knowledge of raising hearing-impaired children.
