Selection Process for Upper Primary Level

Selection to the post of such Teacher (excluding Physical Education & Work Education) shall be made category wise strictly by merit (Weightage of TET, Academic, Professional Qualification and marks obtained in personality test) from Interview List of State Level Selection Test conducted by the Central Commission

Selection of the Posts of Teachers for Upper Primary Level of Schools shall be made by TET, evaluation of academic and Professional Qualifications of the candidates and personality tests to be determined by the Commission in the following manner:

  • TET weightage : 40 marks
  • Academic qualifications including professional qualifications : 50 marks
  • Personality Test : 10 marks
    (Appearance before the Personality Test Board is compulsory)

The Central Commission shall prepare and publish in their website with all details of the candidates to be called for personality test (Interview List) category wise on the basis of merit

After the interview, the Central Commission shall prepare and publish a Merit List category wise strictly by merit (Weightage of TET, Academic, Professional Qualification and marks obtained in personality test) from Interview List.

Selection Process for Upper Primary Level in Physical Education and Work

Selection to the Posts of Teachers for Upper Primary Level of Schools shall be made by TET, evaluation of academic and Professional Qualifications of the candidates and personality tests to be determined by the Commission in the following manner:

  • TET weightage: 40 marks
  • Academic qualifications including professional qualifications: 50 marks
  • Personality Test: 10 marks
    (Appearance before the Personality Test Board is compulsory)
